Organize with Channels

Lesson Summary

1. Channel Basics: Channels are folders where you can organize playlists and files.
2. Creating Channels: To create a new channel, click the plus sign, name the channel, select managers, set visibility, and click "create channel."
3. Managing Channels: You can rearrange channels using the filter menu or drag them into a custom order. Each team member's arrangement is independent.
4. Adding Playlists: Playlists can be added to channels by dragging them from the browse area or using the "add to channel" option in the playlist menu.
5. Browse Playlists: Playlists remain in the browse area even when added to channels.
6. Creating Subfolders: Subfolders can be created within channels by selecting "add folder" from the channel menu.
7. Moving Items: Playlists can be moved between folders and channels. However, channels themselves cannot be nested.
8. Visibility Settings: When creating a channel, you can set its visibility to the entire team, specific members, or just yourself.
