Explorer Column Width & Display Density Settings
- Open Settings > App Settings
- The dropdown menus have options for Explorer column width and Explorer display density
Here is an example of the default column width and density:
Depending on screen size, DISCO users may prefer to expand the columns to a larger size while compacting the display density:
Here’s how to set up this configuration from the App Settings menu:
Use your Browser’s View menu to zoom out to 90% or 80%, and/or drag the corner of the browser window to gain an extra column in the Explorer (middle column area).
The display below is configured with Large columns and Compact density, while the browser is zoomed out to 90% for an adjusted view:
Customize Your Track Info Hover
The Track Info hover shows a preview of useful track information and metadata:
Information and data displayed on the Track Info hover can be adjusted by going to Business Settings; adjustments made this way will impact each teammate’s view.
For personal Track Info customization, navigate to the App Settings menu; changes made this way will only impact your DISCO view.
Track Info hover settings have NO effect on metadata that travels on files or public playlist views - they only adjust what you (and/or your teammates) see inside your DISCO.
- Open Settings > App Settings
- Open the dropdown menu “Choose the information to display on your track hover”
- This dropdown displays many data options to choose from, including metadata fields, custom fields, file formats, tags, date uploaded, user who uploaded etc:
- Fields appear on the Track Info hover in the order in which you selected them.
- A few popular options are Formats, Original filename, Upload Date, Uploaded by (team member), etc.
Don’t forget to click “Update App Settings” when you’re done adjusting your view!
