A DISCO EPK brings your key promotional assets together in one professional, shareable page.
Instead of sending multiple attachments and links, you can present music, visuals, video, and written information through a single destination that is easy for recipients to review on desktop or mobile.
In this article
You’ll learn how to:
- prepare the files needed for an EPK
- organize them into a playlist
- design the page using DISCO presentation tools
- share the final EPK professionally

Step 1: Upload your audio and media files
Start by uploading the assets you want to include in the EPK.
This might include:
- main audio tracks
- instrumental versions
- music videos
- press photos
- album artwork
- bios or press releases
- PDF documents
- ZIP files such as stems or media packs
If you are uploading WAV or AIFF files, DISCO will automatically create MP3s for streaming.
Step 2: Clean up metadata
Before building the page, check that the audio files are clearly labeled and professionally presented.
Important fields often include:
- artwork
- artist
- album
- year or release date
- comments with contact information
- lyrics where relevant
For tracks with alternate versions, use clear naming such as:
- Instrumental
- Clean
- Explicit
- Remix
- feat. [Artist]
Clean metadata helps recipients understand what they are hearing and makes the page more useful in professional settings.
Step 3: Organize the playlist
Create a playlist containing the core audio tracks and supporting assets.
Use sections to group content clearly. For example, you might create sections for:
- main tracks
- instrumentals
- media files
Arrange everything in the order you want recipients to experience it.

Step 4: Open the Presentation tab
Save the playlist and open the Presentation tab.
For most EPKs, the Album Page template is the best choice, though an Artist Page may also work depending on the project.
Step 5: Design the EPK
Complete the main presentation elements:
- hero image
- album art
- release date
- bio or press release text
- social links
- embedded video
You can also adjust the theme, branding, and additional settings such as lyrics display or download access.
The goal is to create one page that gives recipients everything they need to understand and promote the project.
Step 6: Review settings and preview the page
Before sharing, review the page carefully.
Check that:
- the most important track appears prominently
- media files are included where needed
- images display correctly
- social links work
- embedded video loads properly
- the text is clean and current
Open the public page in your browser to see exactly what recipients will see.
Step 7: Share your EPK
Once the page is ready, open the Share area from the playlist menu.

From there, you can:
- email the EPK directly from DISCO
- copy the public playlist URL
- adjust access settings if needed

You now have a single, professional link that can be used for press, promo, sync, industry outreach, or general presentation.
Wrap up
A DISCO EPK helps you present a project clearly and professionally without scattering files across multiple links and attachments.
By combining strong assets, clean metadata, thoughtful playlist structure, and good presentation, you can create a polished destination that is easy for others to engage with.
