Playlist Stats Overview

Generating Stats
Multiple types of interactions with DISCO playlist share URLs generate valuable stats:
- Click/open rate
- Playlist downloads and/or save to DISCO metrics
- Individual track streams, downloads, and/or save to DISCO metrics
Stats are also generated when playlists are accessed inside DISCO Inboxes:
- Individual track stream metrics
- Starred track/playlist metrics*
- Track additions from Inbox to the playlist creator*
*These actions register as downloads.
Viewing Stats
All interactions with your playlists are tracked and viewable in the Stats dashboard, located in the Playlist menu.
- If you share a Public Playlist URL with a specific group of people, their access stats will be combined into one metric filed under "Other Recipients:"
- Assigned URLs and Direct Emails (from the Share area in DISCO) automatically parse each recipient’s activity into a corresponding row:
Pro Tip: Hover over the green numbers in the Stream and Download columns to view stats associated with specific track titles. (Available on plus plans and above.)
Contact Activity & Access Stats
DISCO's Contact database is a great place to keep track of all your clients’ contact information in one place.
Every time you email or assign a playlist to a Contact, it is added to their Activity panel:
- Click a Contact’s name to open a Contact Card containing related access and activity stats. By scrolling down to the Activity panel, you will see all of the playlists that have been assigned and/or emailed to that Contact.
- Hover over numbers in the Download and Stream columns to view stats around specific track titles:
Email Campaign Stats
The Email Creator (DISCO's version of Mailchimp) automatically assigns playlist-specific URLs to each recipient included in the email.
The resulting access stats break down every track download and stream, by recipient - this can be viewed in the Email Analytics Dashboard.
- Select "View all" on the Most engaged users pane to see a full list of recipients and their activity.
Interactions on the email campaign playlists also link back to each recipient’s Contact Card (see previous section).
